Sportspower Mountain View Metal Swing Set Review
Recently, my brother lost his job. After ten years at the same company, downsizing meant that his department was no longer needed. Since he couldn’t afford to keep his house, I offered him and his family to come live with us. At first, things were a little crowded, but we quickly got used to the arrangement, and now we actually prefer having both families under one roof.
The first Christmas, however, things were especially hard. My brother couldn’t really afford to buy many presents, and he knew that his two kids would be crushed. So, instead, what we did was pool our money together and buy a swing set for all the children as one big present.
We shopped around, and we found the Sportspower Mountain View Swing Set. This bad boy has everything you and your kids could want in a swing set, and we knew that they would love it.
If you’re looking for the ultimate play set for your kids, then take a look at the Mountain View Swing Set.
With two families under one roof, that meant we now had five children living in the house. When we looked at swing sets, we knew that it had to be big enough to accommodate all of them at once, otherwise there would be no point. The Mountain View, thankfully, has it all.
In addition to regular swings, it has a see-saw glider, a flying saucer (like a hammock), a trampoline on one side, and a slide on the other. When our kids first saw it, I swear all of their jaws dropped. It was probably the best Christmas present ever, and I love the fact that each of them can find something to do without having to wait for anyone to be done.
Solid Steel Frame
One thing that we were worried about with the set, however, was if it could handle all of our kids. Our children range from three years old to eleven, so we wanted to make sure to get a model that could handle everyone without any problems.
The Mountain View Swing Set is made of durable powder-coated steel, and it has withstood a lot of abuse from each of our children. Overall, we’re glad we went with this model instead of something flimsier.

It’s been three years since my brother and his family moved in, and almost as much time with the Mountain View Swing Set. Our kids still love playing on it, and we still get compliments from them about it.
In fact, the only downside is that we weren’t able to match the thrill of getting this set with the past two Christmases since we set the bar so high with this. Nonetheless, it’s a remarkable piece of equipment, and I’m very glad we got it.
