Flexible Flyer Triple Fun II Metal Swing Set Review
Having three kids can be a handful at times. Whether it’s getting them all ready in the morning for school or taking them out to eat, three children can be a lot to manage. One of the things my wife and I worry about, however, is how much sun and exercise they get.
My oldest is now seven, and my youngest is two. Even though we have a big backyard for them to play in, they usually prefer to watch TV or play on their digital devices.
That’s when I decided to get a swing set. Every time we go to the park, they all love to play on the swings and monkey bars, so I figured why not get that experience at home and tempt them to go out and play once in a while? That’s when I found the Flexible Flyer Triple Fun II Swing Set.
What I like about this set is that it’s so much more than just swings. The first day I set it up, they came home from school and couldn’t wait to go out and play. In fact, we practically had to drag them inside for dinner.
If you’re looking for a fantastic way for your children to get some much needed fresh air and exercise the Triple Fun II is a perfect solution.
Swing and Slide Set
As I mentioned, the big reason I chose this set over other models was the fact that it had more than just swings. In addition to two bench seat swings, this set comes with a sit and stand swing, a six-foot slide, and a see-saw. My two oldest love playing on the see-saw while my youngest goes down the slide a hundred or so times a day.
He just can’t get enough. The best part, too, is that they can play with their friends without anyone having to “wait their turn”. Overall, this set is perfect for big families or anyone with popular kids (although, after you get it, your children will become much more popular regardless).
Height Adjustable Seats
One of the other big reasons I got the Triple Fun II was the fact that I could adjust the seat height to match my different children. The little one likes to sit low to the ground, and my oldest loves to stand on the middle swing and go as high as possible. With customizable options, I can accommodate everyone simultaneously. What I also like is that the chains come with a nylon covering, so I don’t have to worry about my kids’ fingers getting caught and injured.

When I first bought this set, I was afraid that my kids would love it for about a week, then go back to watching TV. Thankfully, however, because there are so many different options with the Triple Fun II, they play on it almost every weekend and after school.
What I even noticed is that they’ll bring their iPad and such outside and sit on the swing while watching a video. While it isn’t really what I had in mind, at least they are getting some fresh air. Overall, my kids seem to love it, and I do too.
